History

The historical Horticulture Building was built in 1907 for the Canadian National Exhibition by George W. Gouinlock – now home to the Toronto Event Centre (TEC). The heritage landmark at 15 Saskatchewan Road juxtaposes Toronto’s classical charm with a post-modern twist, crowned by a 60-foot-high crystal dome.
Since its inception in 2005, TEC has undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation and built a reputation for luxury and elegance. Situated in the heart of Exhibition Place at the corner of Saskatchewan Road and Princes’ Boulevard, TEC has hosted the world over including the NHL’s New Year’s Eve Centennial Celebration or SickKids Foundation’s All-Star Gala.
